Was ihr alle außer Acht gelassenhabt ist, dass der Schalter hier 3 Stellungen hat und die MFA XP nur zwei, correct me if i'm wrong

Siesen Wippschalterauf auf der Stirnseite des Scheibenwischerhebels ist in meinem Ver nicht drin, wie würde ich das da per MFA XP schalten?
Könnte man das auch mit 3 Optionen Programmieren ( immerzu, immerauf, serie)?

Raoul da hast du völlig Recht, deshalb habe ich MFAXP + Kippschalter für immer zu. Sonst hätten mich meine Nachbarn schon lange umgebracht..

That's why I put switch on too.

Its loud at all other times now.

The way I have wired it, it reverts to stock mode whenever you restart car, even if it was in Loud Mode when you switch off.

Du you need both of the switches to control the flapper?

Oh, i think i got it. the Switch wit the Bulb-Symbol has nothing to do with the flapper, right?
its only for the interior footlight?

Correct mein Freund.

That was the only picture I had with the warning light showing in a switch.

That is for my new interior footwell lights.

The FS switch solely controls the flapper operation...and it lights up the same way when it is in Loud mode.

The button only has a momentary action so that is why you need a latching relay to keep it all working.

I just happened to find a factory relay "434" that is a latching relay in operation.

(It is a RHD New Beetle Headlight Flasher Relay - on RHD Beetle the flasher stalk can only be pulled towards the driver, so it has to latch on and off the high beams. The centre console is too close to the steering wheel for the flasher stalk to be pushed to lock on the high beam like in a Golf! )

My car is RHD so reverse the pictures!

Drivers side Mount:

I mounted at the front (i.e. towards rear of car when mounted) because in this position the pedals do not cast big black shadows over the floor...nice even floor light.

Passenger Mounting point:

Passenger Light mount up here so that if you are sitting in drivers seat the light cannot be seen directly (dazzle)

View from floor looking up - light is above the bottom of the glovebox so out of direct view from any seating position

They are wired to the T23/20 and T23/21 circuit to the CCM, so they come on with the interior lights automatically.

I have added a similar circuit as the flapper so that the relay 79 switches between the T23/21 earth and a normal earth.

Therefore my extra switch can turn on the footlights independently.

Because they get power from the T23/20 feed (+) they will turn off after an hour automatically if I accidently leave them on too.

Very hard to get a good picture of the effect at night.

The passenger light maybe should come down a bit more on the panel to give slightly more light in passenger footwell.

It looks slightly darker than the drivers side as the light shines in a different direction, but it still gives adequate light in the dark to see very well.
