...the solution to realise a useful open airfilter (with cold air intake) is very difficult to find...we discussed this idea very often, but the best solution is a simple K&N filter, which replaces the serial filter in the R32 filtercase...when you think of buying an K&N 57i-Kit, be sure, that you isolate the hot air from the engine by the use of heat-shields made of aluminium...no tuner in germany uses open air filters...when the filter sucks this hot air, the engine´s performance gets down to 90%...that should not be the effect...
